Situated along the canal in the leafy heritage town of Clondalkin, the Waterside pub is a busy venue but had reached it’s best before date with the original interiors. Prior to the refurbishment, the rooms had an art nouveau theme which had dated badly and prompted the owners to call in some real experts! The building was broken into three sections, The Carvery, The Lounge and The Snug. The clients wanted to retain the zoning but to completely transform the interior scheme. Where the original scheme had mixed reds, yellows and gold, we opted for a far more contemporary scheme combining dark blues, grey/greens and strong geometric black and white patterned floors. We complimented the scheme with colourful artwork and dramatic lighting. The transition from a busy lunchtime venue to night time hot spot has been complete and to much praise from our clients the clientele who frequent it..
